Mays Event Center
Recently renovated event space for worship, conferences, meetings and weddings.
Newly renovated Mays Auditorium, part of the original camp facilities, is named in honor of W.A. “Arlie” Mays. Mays was an early supporter of High Plains Retreat Center who helped make the auditorium possible and contributed to the camp’s early development. His generosity continues to impact the gatherings and ministries hosted here today. The Kornegay Hall was added in recent renovations and serves as a foyer to the space named in honor of Rev. Roy A. Kornegay, a longtime supporter and board member of High Plains Retreat Center. His faithful leadership, service, and commitment to the mission of the retreat center continues to welcome guests.

Our newly remodeled Mays Event Center features:

- Catering kitchen & banquet room available for serving and/or seating
-Seating and tables: 295 cushioned interlocking pew chairs, 260 folding chairs, 5 8 foot rectangle table and 40 round 60 inch tables, with space for extra chairs and tables available through rental.
